Courtney and Kevin

Hyatt at the Bellevue
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

There’s something to be said for sophistication… it doesn’t trend, nor does it have moments… it is timeless. That said, at a time when weddings are characteristically colorful (pink wedding gowns!) and teaming with trends (the DIY look) – classic styling, like true love, is to be celebrated as unique.

This fall, Courtney and Kevin celebrated their love in a uniquely traditional style – infusing personality through very specific choices, beginning with their palette. This classy couple chose to paint their fall wedding in a rich sherbet palette and to collaborate with La Petite Fleur to design the quintessential downtown ballroom wedding.

The Bellevue glistened with gold and crystal accents at every turn, tables were dressed in pintuck linens, and garden blooms abounded in stunning bouquets; majestic candelabra arrangements atop petal-filled pedestals and sweet swags adorning the “Mr. & Mrs.” seats.

Even the entryway vignette embodied the couple’s unique signature sophisticated style. Blossom to blossom, more than 400 palette-coordinating roses were layered beneath a translucent tabletop to fashion a full floral linen-scape, upon which a gorgeous gold manzanita branch and pomander arrangement stood to greet guests. Then there were the unconventional confections – mini cakes and petite cupcakes – in shades of sherbet that further sweetened the uniqueness of the newlywed’s sophisticated soiree.
