Favorite Things – Part 1

Fleurish ink’s Favorite Things – Meet the Makers

For many years, Fleurish ink (née La Petite Fleur) welcomed the community to shop our retail boutique, which was located just outside of Chestnut Hill. And while reimagining the display windows several times throughout the year was a highlight, curating the perfect collection of gifts from local artisans and unique makers was as gratifying as it was challenging.

That said, our fellow local, small businesses, will always have our support. Although this year, they need everyone’s support now more than ever. These are the businesses, the people, that make a community ‘go round’– by employing friends and family; by contributing to neighborhood projects; by offering their services to you in a very personalized way; and by providing you with unique gifts (often made by other independents) that huge online retailers simply cannot.

Without question, and whenever possible, please SHOP SMALL… not only this holiday season, but throughout the winter and beyond. To help inspire your shopping this season, following are a few of our favorite things, which all happen to be from other women-owned businesses!  And well, there’s actually more than a few. SO,  we’ll start with goods by makers who make us marvel. Then later this week, we’ll share finds from some of our beloved boutiques. Stay tuned, you gorgeous, gift giving gurus!
